Each song gets 2 slides: First slide:
- What is your song, who is it by, and when was it released?
- What is the song about, and how does it explore your chosen theme? (Or if you chose a character, tell us how the lyrics represent a quality of that character).
- Name one scene in the story the song reminds you of and why.
- An image of either the artist, or a visual representation of whats happening in the lyrics.
Second Slide
- Have at least 3 quotes from the song that represent your theme / character
- Why did you choose these specific lyrics? How do they reflect your chosen theme or qualities of your character?
- A link to either a video or audio file of your song (we'd like to listen to at least one from every project in-class one day).
REGARDING LYRICS:
PLEASE use your best judgement in regards to explicit lyrics. If a song really means something to you and has some profanity/cursing, please don't use any of its explicit lyrics, or at least censor them if you have to. Please see me if you're uncertain.
